Hello! I’m Kat, a dedicated parent of three with a profound passion for perinatal mental health. Having transitioned from midwifery, I am now a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). My extensive experience—over 10 years in perinatal health care and peer support—shapes my practice, which is rooted in anti-oppressive, inclusive, and culturally safe mental health approaches.
Drawing from Filipinx Liberation Psychology, I emphasize the importance of connectedness and shared humanity for a harmonious life. I am committed to providing a supportive, collaborative, and brave space where you can navigate the complexities of perinatal transitions and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
My areas of focus include: relational dynamics and disconnection, obstetric violence, birth trauma, racism and discrimination, grief and loss, blending families, sex and pleasure, and raising interracial children. Overall, I hope to help you reconnect with your embodied wisdom, restore trust in your innate ability to parent yourself, your children and/or your wider community.
Your story is important, and I am eager to understand where you are, the challenges you face, and the future you envision. It would be an honour to support you on this journey.
